Who We Serve

Here at Road Trip Groceries, we serve the homeless community of Phoenix, Arizona, especially the population in the downtown area. On the night of January 27, 2020, it was determined that 7,419 people experienced homelessness in Maricopa, while there was 6,614 in 2019, so this displays the increasing prevalence of homelessness in the community (City of Phoenix, n.d.). Additionally, 937,300 people in Arizona experience hunger, which equates to about 1 in 8 people (Feeding America, n.d.).
